My 2015 Resume
By now you know my name is Gregory Heeter and I am just like everyone reading my brief bio. We all have back stories to share so here is a brief look at my diverse set of skills that have sustained me thus far.
During the 60’s, I fixed a broken train set my grandfather gave me and I went door to door fixing televisions. Additionally, I design and assembled a remote control to lock and unlock my electromagnetic door latch, turn on and off my television, my stereo and lights from my bed.
In the 70’s, I assembled my first radio. I also installed my first 4 channel cassette car stereo. When the disco scene started, I caught the fever. Music beats, ladies and the dancing attracted me to a short career as a weekend Disc Jockey. Even though the music plays on, I evolved into a junk sculptor recycling metal hangers, beer cans, car bucket seats and various other articles into artistic furniture.
As a certified welder, I spent the 80’s building various objects from metal cast outs. Finally, the personal computer came of age and I was bit by the bug so I bought my first computer while I was living in Japan and taught myself the first office applications. Upon my return to the US, I assembled a computer and bought 3 older computers to study networking. By the end of the 90’s, I became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
During this last decade, my passion for movies has become almost addicting and most recently I have become fascinated with green technology such as starting an Aquaponics garden and developing homes with discarded shipping containers. However, nothing is more rewarding than the time and love I have raising my nephew Donovan. Now, my mission is to develop a workable and easily duplicable business model so I can leave my family with an honorable legacy. I am going to grow my empire one project at a time.
